What to check before you start
Make sure your phone, tablet, or computer has Bluetooth turned on and is within about 30 feet of the speaker. If you've paired the speaker to another device before, it may try to reconnect to that one first—turn off Bluetooth on the old device or move it out of range.
The Session 360 can remember up to 8 paired devices, but it only connects to one at a time. If you're having trouble, clearing the speaker's pairing list (see step 5) can help.
How to pair your Session 360 speaker
- 1. Power on the speaker: Press and hold the power button (located on the side) for about 3 seconds. You'll hear a startup tone and the LED will flash blue, indicating the speaker is in pairing mode. If the LED doesn't flash blue, the speaker may already be connected to a previous device. Disconnect that device first.
- 2. Open Bluetooth settings on your device: On your phone, tablet, or computer, go to Settings > Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is turned on. Wait a few seconds for available devices to appear. If your device doesn't show the Session 360, try turning Bluetooth off and on again, or move closer to the speaker.
- 3. Select "Session 360" from the list: Tap or click "Session 360" when it appears in the list of available devices. You'll hear a confirmation tone and the LED will turn solid blue. If you see multiple "Session 360" entries, choose the one with the strongest signal (usually the first one).
- 4. Test the connection: Play any audio from your device. The sound should come through the speaker within a second or two. Adjust the volume on both the speaker and your device. If there's no sound, check that the speaker isn't muted and that your device's media volume is turned up.
- 5. (Optional) Reset pairing for a fresh start: To clear all paired devices and start over, press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds until you hear a double tone. The speaker will restart and enter pairing mode automatically. Use this only if you're giving the speaker to someone else or if it keeps connecting to the wrong device.
